MCAS-Safe Sweet Potato Gut Healing Soup with Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric

Sweet potato provides beta-carotene and soluble fiber to support intestinal mucosa repair while reducing inflammatory IL-6 cytokines. Turmeric's curcumin inhibits NF-ฮบB activation and mast cell degranulation, while fresh ginger delivers gingerol compounds that enhance DAO enzyme activity and promote gut barrier integrity.

โ—†2 tsp fresh turmeric, grated
โ—†1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
โ—†1/4 tsp black pepper

โ—†1 tsp sea salt
โ—†2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
โ—†1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

2Add cubed sweet potato, grated turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. Stir for 2 minutes to activate curcumin absorption.
3Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until sweet potato is fork-tender.
4Blend soup until smooth using an immersion blender. Season with sea salt and garnish with fresh parsley and chives before serving immediately.
