Ingredients
◆2 cups broccoli florets (fresh, not frozen)
◆1 medium white onion
◆1 green apple, peeled and cubed
◆2 cloves garlic
◆3 cups filtered water or low-histamine broth
◆1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
◆½ tsp turmeric powder
◆¼ tsp black pepper
◆Fresh parsley to finish
Method
1Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil on low heat for 5 minutes.
2Add broccoli, apple, turmeric, and pepper. Stir to coat.
3Pour in water/broth and bring to a gentle simmer for 12 minutes.
4Blend until smooth. Do not overcook — sulforaphane is heat-sensitive.
5Serve warm with fresh parsley on top.
