Golden Millet Porridge for Gut Healing
Millet is a gluten-free grain that soothes inflamed gut mucosa, acts as a safe prebiotic, and avoids feeding histamine-producing gut bacteria. A perfect anti-inflammatory MCAS breakfast.

Ingredients
◆1 cup hulled millet
◆2.5 cups filtered water
◆½ tsp turmeric
◆¼ tsp cinnamon
◆1 tbsp coconut oil or ghee (if tolerated)
◆1 tbsp pumpkin seed butter
◆Fresh blueberries (fresh only, not dried)
◆Drizzle of raw manuka honey
Method
1Rinse millet thoroughly and dry-toast in pan for 2 minutes.
2Add water, turmeric, cinnamon. Bring to boil then reduce to simmer.
3Cover and cook 15 minutes until water absorbed and millet fluffy.
4Stir in coconut oil or ghee off heat.
5Top with pumpkin seed butter, fresh blueberries and a drizzle of honey.
